Historical Fiction & Other Necessary Stories
About this Historical Fiction Stuff
I have always been obsessed with photographs of the past – their worn edges, faded sepia tones and stoic figures frozen in time. As I stared, I would wonder what passions and desires lay hidden just beneath the surface of those rigid faces.
What hardships did these individuals endure? What loves did they find and lose? On the surface, photographs can seem dull and lifeless, but I knew that the stories behind the photos were alive and vibrant - begging to be told.

I want to tell these stories. But even more, I want to discover what additional troubles I can get these guys in to. Maybe this desire to "re-write" the past is what led me to a historical fiction novel and other stories. Well, that and my undying love of intrigue, mystery and murder.
